creating a component

I am trying to create a componet footprint. When i place a pad or a line I can not move it or delete it. How do you do this.

Version 1.5?
If so, make sure to have All Objects selected:

It's much easier to do footprints in PCB Library Expert Pro (free to download/use in PRO version) and then import them in CircutStudio.
Latest version has a CircuitStudio export and it export also 3D STEP models...

Don't forget there is a footprint wizard included with CircuitStudio in you don't want to do it all manually. Sometimes the icon does not show up initially so you will need to follow these instructions.
