I have serial BS44501-1409003. The board is labeled "Bitscope 442N Rev 3". It has two removable modules. The first is labeled "BitScope Network Controller LIA BootLoad" and the second is "BitScope VM-445N (C) 2008 Metachip".
The symptoms of the board are:
- the external power LED is lit steady
- at power up, the Data LED blinks and then stays off
- at power up, the Link LED lights after a few seconds, and stays lit
- sending UDP multicast 230.10.10.10 port 16385 on the LAN does NOT blink the Data LED
- no network traffic is emitted by the BitScope
- other hosts on the same LAN do receive the UDP multicast datagrams
- X1 pin 1 has 5 VDC
- X1 pin 5 has 5 VDC
I have at least three questions:
1. how can I get a schematic for this board
2. what is the manual "force reset" mechanism for this board
3. what are the definitions of the 7 pins at X1
