I'd like to be able to use the ChpKit board as a 'slave' to an RPi controller, i.e., I wish to be able to switch on/off the slave at the RPi's command and download summary data to the RPi on request from the latter. I'm afraid the tutorial material I've seen so far hasn't been too helpful: it conveys the impression that I can only set up the ChipKit to run a programme which is automatically started as soon as the software is 'blown' into the ChipKit. Is this a fundamental limitation? (Surely not: it's just that I can't see the wood for the trees, isn't it?) Help would be appreciated.
