My Raspberry Pi 4 does not boot?

If your Raspberry Pi 4 will not boot, it is possible that the SPI EEPROM has become corrupted.

To check, remove the SD card, disconnect the device from power, then reconnect it. If the green LED does not flash, you will need to reprogram the EEPROM:

Download the bootloader
SHA-256: 2c5610682edfa2c3a2a41832c687559d8f091b9e48abaeb8577cca2a0cc81839
Extract it to an empty FAT-formatted SD card and insert it into your Raspberry Pi 4
Connect the power and wait for the green LED to flash quickly

Notes:

The updated bootloader improves compatibility with HATs by changing the behaviour of HALT to keep the 3V3 pin powered (view the full bootloader release notes)

The previous bootloader remains available for download

Multiple I2C on GPIOs
Hi! I had the same problem with rpi4 after upgrading to the new OS system. I found out that the use of multiple i2c on the gpios causes the system to stop under booting process. When I left only one i2c on
GPIO 2 and 3 it boot without problems, but only one i2c!

Have you made sure that you're using a good quality 5v 3amp power supply for it?

Does the Raspberry Pi OS (Raspbian) boot from an SDCard in the Raspberry Pi 4?

Hi,

I have this problem too, that my pi4 does not boot.
If I power it up with no SD card, I get the message no SD card found. Which is obviously correct.
The green led flashed 4 times, off for longer and then flash 4 times etc, I think indicating it is searching for a device to boot from.

If I power it with SD card (latest UBUNTU image, lts 20xxx) the green led lights up, and flashes once, and then it is off.
On the connected screen there is no signal received (none at all: no blink or blank or whatever).
I replaced the bootloader already - the one downloadable via the Raspberry Pi Imager (v1.2). But no improvement.
The same sd card in a different (Pi3) boots fine.
Tried different power sources already, but no result.
Can anyone advise?
