I am sure to some this would be an easy build. Considering I am new to the Rpi and Python, I think it's awesome that I figured it out :-)

Python uses thr indentation to know where loops and if/then/else end! Other languages use brackets or ???? to tell. Clem

very good.... even you may have excellent Led lighting patterns using adafruit neo-pixels and adafruit i2c library for python on RPi.

One of the things that I have trouble with is the indentations and getting them right so that the code works and I don't get errors..:-)

Thank you, Peter for your comments. I am very new to Python so what I have been doing to attempt to learn it, is I get an idea for something I would like to build. Then I look for code that has key words that I am looking for such as random, sleep etc etc and I look and see how they are used and the syntax. Then I take what I have learned and apply it to my project and tinker with it to get it working. Sometimes I am successful and sometimes not. :-)

I am the type that learns by doing and trial and error. :-)

Thank you again for your comments

    Mike

interesting script, I like it and will have to give it a go, with all my programming I have done over the last 35 years, I have only done a few hours of Python

What i see there is quite creative and elegant

    nice one
