Summer is here, engineers. And the Raspberry Pi is just as essential to this season as sunscreen, lemonade and air conditioning.
We know you’re not the kind of people to stand still. You’re thinkers, problem solvers, movers and shakers. You're looking for an ACTIVE summer. Stick with us, and the Raspberry Pi will get you just that.
We have existing and coming projects that will help you reach your summer goals. And we invite you to share your ideas for a Pi in the Sun that shines brighter than ever before.
Some responsibility-laden adults say vacation isn't worth the prep-work required. The Raspberry Pi can change that. Imagine a Pi that secures your home, feeds your pets and makes sure your applicances are working when you travel. Better yet, what if the Pi could notify you if something goes awry? Check out our Security Projects blog, and respond with your home security creations.
We promise to challenge you to create projects that prevent the mistakes that make enjoying your leisure time impossible. Can you say "design challenge"? One is on the way!
What if the Pi was portable? What if it could support you in enjoying your favorite summer hot spots? We're not talking about using it to hold down your beach towel. Think about playing your favorite tunes as you drift off while catching a few rays. Consider what life could be like if the Pi could find the catch of the summer at your favorite fishing hole. Is it possible that Pi could keep track of your children in your beloved busy places? Join us in creating new portable Pi projects.
