Hello Raspberry Pi fans!

A few months ago, I made my Raspberry Pi into a dedicated speech synthesizer. Here are some of my blog posts:

Now, I have given my Raspberry Pi to my 13 year old nephew, Josh, as I now have the BeagleBone BlackBeagleBone Black. I'm also continuing my speech synthesis projects with SpeakJet. For those that would like to connect the SpeakJet to their Raspberry Pi, please refer to my article. Thanks!

Thanks! I never had a Sinclair; I was doing the Commodore line (VIC-20 through Amiga 500). I never did have the SP0256-AL2 chip.

As for the programming part... That's basically what I can only do, nowadays, to pass the time by.

Hi, This brings back great memories of making a speech synthesizer for my Sinclair ZX Spectrum back in the 80's.

I used the SP0256-AL2 chip with mixed results. I had fun designing and building the hardware but got a bit bored with the programming!
