I was just wondering how you deal with the issue of the SD card corrupting if there is a power failure when the device is writing to the OS on the SD card?

I have had several attempts at using the Raspbmc distro and found it not overly stable (although I haven't tried with the latest version) and instead used the openELEC distrobution which is very stable but can still corrupt the SD card. I use the SD card to direct the system to boot off an attached USB drive.
