Hello,

I would love it if you took a moment to check out my GoFundMe campaign:

Your support would mean a lot to me. Thank you so much!

As said previously 2K$ is rather a lot, you say you want to learn about computing and electronic engineering. I woudl suggest that unless you are doing something special you are not learning anything from assembling your PC from bits afterall many are just one integrated motherboard anyway. Honestly you would get more "skills" from assembling a Lego kit!!

If you are serious about learning electronics or using a computer to get there then you would get more from an old PC on which you can put devlopment tools for what ever controllers you may be interested in or USB test gear or some such .. Merely assembling the PC you will learn very little.

    JA

Totally agree, A Raspberry PI and an Arduino will provide years of learning if you're at the beginning of the curve and prepare you for better jobs in the future (Unless you want to be part of the "GEEK SQUAD" image )

And you can get both for under 100$ (Total), a second hand USB keyboard and Mouse, plug the PI into our TV and your off, everything software wise for PI and Arduino are free and you can use the PI to program the Arduino
