FT5316 touch driver on Raspbian Jessie?

I would like to connect a display with a capacitive touch screen to my Raspberry Pi 2 B running Raspbian Jessie. The touch driver is the FT5316.

I already have the official 7" with FT5604 running, and I would like to know if the two drivers are compatible or not. If no, is there a chance to make the FT5316 work?

You should be able to run them both because they are I2C devices and one is on a different I2C bus to the other so they should not collide even if they use the same address

The PI 7" display is using I2C on the DSI Cable, the other comes out on the 40 Pin header

Perhaps I did not explained well my problem I'm don't want to work with the two displays together at the same time, I just wonder how can I make the FT5316 based touch screen display work on Raspbian Jessie (only the FT5316 one). Have I to modify or change some modules or drivers? Can I use that display with the current Raspbian Jessei OS?
