Just received another email from Farnell Uk.
Delivery date has slipped another 3 weeks, to mid May.
Now on nearly 50 days back-order.
Is everyone else seeing this?

This isn't a regular product and did anyone envisage it would be this popular!
An article on the guardian - http://www.guardian.co.uk/technology/2012/mar/05/raspberry-pi-demand?intcmp=239
states demand is 700 per sec and at least 20x over subscribed.
Demand will be met and I'm happy to wait a few months but this isn't a multi-billion dollar company we dealing with but a charitable organisation so maybe try extending a bit of charity back to them for thier efforts in getting this far.
Anthony I think its fair to say no-one has an issue with rPi themselves, but the problem is with the distributors not making it clear when the product can be expected, imho taking blind orders and then moving dates continuously is not the way a company like Farnell or RS should be operating.
I have no issues with the charity behind the product, I do have issues with large distributors who should know better that to work like this.
Cheers

Hi,
My first post on here, so I hope it is in the right place!
Unlike a lot of others, I was not quick enough in expressing my interest, and in fact only did so earlier today.
Based on what is now known, and what might have been gathered from elsewhere, would anyone like to hazard a guess as to how long I will now have to wait to receive one?

How long is a piece of string? There's so much we don't know at this point, it's impossible to tell.
