Sorry... what road test?

I have just received an email informing me that today (3.14) is 'Pi Day', and telling me who the lucky winners were, but that was the first I had had heard about any road test or how I could have entered for it.

Just to confirm though that I do have an order placed with you for a Raspberry Pi, which I am still hoping I will receive earlier than the middle of May!

David: Rest assure "RoadTest" will not have any effect with your current/existing order. RoadTest from the element14 community offers a chance for element14 members to test the latest development kits and other new products...FOR FREE!

Thanks Joseph... I have now read in another thread about' Road Tests' that the winners will only be receiving beta boards anyway (although one of those would still be good!), so I will just sit here and continue counting the days until the 16th May, by which time, but hopefully before, I will have received my 'production' model, and hopefully also be the proud owner of a smart looking case to 'mount' it in... but that subject is currently being discussed in another thread also!

As Joseph mentioned, the RoadTest will not have any impact on your order status. We're working daily on getting more units in stock.

If you haven't checked out RoadTest, you might really like it. We are currently offering some great products for free:
