    Nicole, please see this thread:

        http://www.element14.com/community/thread/17441?tstart=0

It's about an important question to which there should be an answer in your FAQ.

    Cheers,

    Morgaine.

FYI, Liz Upton has good news on compliance testing at http://www.raspberrypi.org/forum/general-discussion/status-updates-a-k-a-wheres-my-pi-at/#p61030, dated 4 April 2012:

Quick update: still in Wales (at the Institute for Welsh Affairs, where we've begged the use of an office for Eben to do his webinar at). Testing's going really swimmingly; because we've got the use of the test chamber all week we've decided to make sure we're certified for FCC, CTick (Australia) and what we've all been referring to as "That Canadian thing". We're all done with emissions; now we have to test for EM immunity, which should be finished later today (we've got the test chamber booked all evening) or tomorrow.

Eben addresses the compliance issue in yesterday's webinar at 41:48.

He says testing is ongoing and he hopes to have an announcement "in due course",

without giving any hints as to how well things are going.  He doesn't say anything like

"testing's going really swimmingly", although perhaps he is just being cautious.

Yes, at long last he's learned not to give dates, lol.

Since he's an engineer, presumably Eben has always known that things are ready when they're ready, so I was really surprised at the Foundation getting itself into hot water repeatedly throughout the project by giving dates.  Maybe he's finally remembered his core principles again. image

New front page post at RasPi: http://www.raspberrypi.org/archives/978 from Liz:

    Testing’s done!

Good news! We just received confirmation that the Raspberry Pi has passed EMC testing without requiring any hardware modifications.
