How about posting confirmation numbers when people receive their R-Pi's. That should give us some idea of expected delivery time.
Example: My Conf # is 191353. I saw a post that 160xxx has received his. That gives me about 31K to go.

Well my order number is 164633?? and the last update I had on the 4th May was August!
My order was placed via CPC on 29th Feb about 11.15am in the UK.
Hi Nick,
I know that CPC are a division of Premier Farnell, but I hadn't realised that they were also taking initial orders for the Raspberry Pi, although they don't appear to be doing so now!
Assuming that they are using the same order system as Element 14 I would have thought that (based on what others have said) you should either have already received your Pi, or at the very least have been given a date much earlier than August.
It might be worth dropping them a quick email, or even giving them a call, to clarify your position, as it seems to be 'out of sync'. with Element 14 UK orders.
Hi David,
According to Jenny Peters (Element 14), ordering via any Farnell organisation would be treated equally and in a single queue, so its a bit frustrating. CPC don't seem to be very interested and their response on the 4th May was when I asked was "These are expected to be available to ship mid – late August. This is still an estimated date as they are still being manufactured which is open to delays."
I think I'll need that good luck

My number is a little higher than yours 16470xxx and I have been advised w/c 21 May.
This means you may be pleasantly surprised??

This is not the case. Look at the order numbers and dates from different countries, they are not sequential. People who ordered later get their Pis earlier. Especially UK customers, they started to receive last week, and many who ordered later in UK than elsewhere got theirs already.
So I am guessing many that have ordered after the 8th of March have already received theirs. I bought myself an 8GB SD card and have downloaded “Debian Squeeze” software but haven’t done anything since as I am still not fully clued-up in what I actuality need for its operation other than a mouse/keyboard and a monitor/TV.
Incorrect.
The first 5000 farnell-pies, those from the first batch initiated by the RP-foundation, were sold on the first day.
They have 12k coming in somewhere the next two weeks, and at least some of those will go to people who ordered on the first day.
The problem for many individuals was that they couldn't set up an account to order them on the first day. So only those with company accounts could order.
I'm not sure if those who "registered intererst" on the first day but only got to order later on have had their place in the queue counted as "on the first day" or "later on".
(I also have the impression (but no proof) that some countries might have been left behind a bit, while Farnell sorts out paperwork, maybe releated to FCC certification and things like that).
Zoltan,
That is what I was told by both Liz (Raspberry Pi foundation) and Jenny. http://www.raspberrypi.org/forum/general-discussion/confused-about-CPC-orders?value=14109&type=9&include=1&search=1&ret=all
I've seen forum posts with people having a later order# than mine receiving theirs. Unfortunately trying to get hold of anyone at Farnell who knows what is going on seems impossible. CPC certainly arn't interested.
I suspect the later orders that are being processed are those from the registration of interest on day 1 and it is only later they are invited to make the actual order.
There does seem to be a difference depending on which part of the Farnell group the order was placed through.

I ordered mine on the 3rd of March order number 165XXX...no emails, no dates, states 'Back Order' all the time...hard to take it all seriously...
Same here. Ordered Mar 9. Still shows B/O w/ Aug 16th. No e-mails received. Located in Los Angeles. Oh, well, I guess I'll just have another non-fat passion fruit grossly grande Americano frappe hold the coffee & passion fruit (lettuce-wrapped), put my feet up and skip some iStones along the beach.
