Still waiting for delivery date?

e14 Contributor
e14 Contributor over 14 years ago

Hi,

I have ordered in early april and the only thing I got so far is an ORP number (ORP019443). So I am still waiting for an expected delivery date? Can anybody provide a contact (email etc.) where I can get more information about the delivery state?

Thanks,

Franz

After that, as usually, no word, no delivery mail, no nothing.

You should expect 2-3 days for them between charging the creditcard and the actual shipping. When it ships, you'll get your notice....

@len3805, Because creditcards have an expiry date somewhere every 2-5 years, in 3 months time, about 6-12% of them will expire. So people who have their card declined had a valid card in march/april, but it expired in the meantime.

Now instead of waiting for one you can wait for multiple Raspberry Pi's  !!!

I keep trying the link in my email (sent July 3rd) with no success. All I get is a message:

Thank you for your interest in Raspberry Pi.

We know you have already registered for this great new technology, unfortunately we are currently experiencing a huge number of requests and are temporarily unable to take your order.

Please try the link in your email again later, we still have your place in line.

Until then, for the very latest updates, join the conversation at:

At least some people are able to place their orders!

Just an update to my wait.

I received a PM this morning (17th July) saying that my credit/debit card had been declined. I rang the contact number and my (same) card info was put in without any problems. But as I never received the email asking for my card info anyway how could it have been declined? So stuck in a black-hole.

Anyway I might actually get it now.

Edit: Just to complicate it further, later in the day I received an email to tell me my card had been declined. Now was this the original email I should/shouldn't have received? I don't know, so ring back again.......... Yep the order had gone though so this email was spurious.

    Just a shambles.

Edit: For the sake of completeness. I received an email notifying of despatch on the Thursday, two days later. Then the Pi arrived on the Saturday (21st July)

So more or less two weeks later than the promised despatch on week commencing 02/07/2012.

Got an email today saying that my raspberry Pi has been shipped. I ordered on the 24th of June. Expected to be delivered within 2-5 days. I'm very happy as many people who have ordered theirs awhile ago have only just got them or are getting them. I was expecting mine to be shipped early-mid August as that is what the sales team told me. Glad it is on its way.
