You may not need all the pins, GND and +3V3 are repeated several times.

The problem with buying from Adafruit is the postage to the UK. For a breakout box which is $7.99 the recomended postage is $39.00 unless you want it quicker then it is $82.00.

May be if an number of us want to buy from them we should get together and share postage ?

We really could do with a UK supplier especially as the RPi is British !

I've had tons of stuff from Proto-Pic, first-class service with tracked deliveries emailing you with a one-hour timeslot for your next-day delivery. Oomlout do an awesome Arduino Experimenter's Kit, with lots of components to play with and great comprehensive tutorials, well worth considering for the same Pi-owners who might also be considering this breadboard cobbler kit with the intention of exploring electronics - Arduino Experimenter's Kit is IMO a better place to start than leaping into it with the Pi.  Both Proto-Pic and Oomlout are good at linking datasheets and tutorials for the stuff they sell.  However the only one of these currently carrying the Cobbler breakout is Phenoptix, never used them yet, but it's promising that the Pi cobbler kit is on their front page and they've a nascent 'Raspberry Pi' section, so far with only that one item in it.  http://www.phenoptix.com/index.php/front-page-products/adafruit-pi-cobbler-breakout-kit-for-raspberry-pi-for-easy-breadboarding.html

Have just today received a Raspberry Pi enclosure from Adafruit, they're a terrific little company but unfortunately it's really not an easy path ordering direct from them for delivery to UK - I ordered their clear Pi enclosure and the 26-pin ribbon cable (same as the cable with this cobbler breakout), the goods came to $18.90 but with shipping included it came to $31.53 - and, Adafruit printed the $31.53 full invoice total on the customs declaration sheet instead of the $18.90 actual value of goods, which meant my parcel sat in UK customs for two weeks, attracted £4 in VAT, and an additional £8 "handling fee" from the robbing pirates of the Customs & Excise.  I'll be delighted to order Adafruit items again, but only from UK distributors in future I think - none of whom carry the case I wanted.

Tracked delivery (or at least predictable for next day) is very important to me, so I think you've just given Proto-Pic a sales boost.   I like what I've seen of their website so far, and can think of several must-have items already.

I can only agree with what RorschachUK says about proto-pic. Had a few things off them recently and service was excellent. 

Mistakes do happen however and when they shipped me a wrong part they fixed it immediately no questions asked by shipping the tiny and low cost replacement part by next-day courier. Can't imagine they were left with much profit out of the order after that, but it's that attention to fixing things when they do go wrong that earns them my recommendation and ensures I'll use them again.

The delivery timeslot thing is done through DPD and at least where I live was amazingly accurate. You're reading the email at 10:59 that says delivery from 11-12 and have to stop reading it to answer the door...
