I was charged 1 dollar twice on my credit card by newmark. Is it normal? Should I be worried? My invoice shows that I made 1 order for 1 rasberry pi B board. Total is 53.11 CAD

  • It's common that companies charge a small amount and immediately refund it, as a way of testing that the card details provided are genuine and that the account is in credit.  Yes, I know, it's totally beyond stupid that there isn't a Card Test function and that they have to actually charge, but that's how it is.

     

    In your case, if the second dollar charge is not actually a refund then it looks like something has gone wrong.
