I was charged 1 dollar twice on my credit card by newmark. Is it normal? Should I be worried? My invoice shows that I made 1 order for 1 rasberry pi B board. Total is 53.11 CAD

Your card wont charge till shipped. Thats just the "hey is this card real" charge. It will drop back into your account.

It's common that companies charge a small amount and immediately refund it, as a way of testing that the card details provided are genuine and that the account is in credit. Yes, I know, it's totally beyond stupid that there isn't a Card Test function and that they have to actually charge, but that's how it is.

In your case, if the second dollar charge is not actually a refund then it looks like something has gone wrong.
