Has everone exPired in here?

Well all the schools are back. Raspberry Pi shipments seem to be going pretty swimmingly now. I really expected this place to be hot enough with discussions to bake a Pi. (Sorry all) image

Seriously, what is everybody up to I am still working hard on improving my soldering skills and pushing the Pi to its limits whenever I can.

Dark nights drawing in now so peering up to the night sky takes over from solder school soon.

Have fun all.

I'm waiting for the last two obscure HDMI/USB double-female adapters to arrive from China so I can build a RasPi Lapdock like Drew Fustini.

If I can assemble it and get it working by 29 September, I'll take it to the Hackspace Tour in San Francisco.  I'm looking forward to meeting RasPi Forum regulars Jim Manley and W. H. Heydt.  Liz has asked me to be nice to Rob Bishop, but I' m sure she's warned him to beware of anyone who looks remotely like Jules Verne.

While I'm waiting, I'm blasting ahead with Chicken Coop.

I'm waiting on a double h-bridge chip from america and my gertboard from E14.  School Holidays are starting this friday in Aus, so looking foreward to experimenting with my Raspberry Pi and GPIO ports.

    Hi John

Chicken Coop certainly looks like a major project. Seems to have a terrific set of goals. I am surprised you can find time to bake at all.

I also liked the idea of Drews Lapdock or a Kindle(Pindle?). image Funny because the wife thinks more bedroom furniture is my top priority at the moment. image

Hope you have a great time at Hackspace.

Sounds like you got a lot of fun coming up Fergus. Good luck with those projects. I am still stumbling about deciding on either the Pi + Gertboard against a Pi + Arduino + Processing combination. Maybe after Christmas I'll be able to have my Pi and eat it. image
