Raspberry Pi - 512MB Issue

So I just recieved my 512MB Raspberry Pi bought in 1 of October but my TaskManager says that it only has 216MB. I specifically bought it knowing it had 512MB and even came a little pamphlet with it saying the device already comes with the 512MB.

I'd like to know if this is just an issue with the firmware or an issue with the distribution.

Proof is attatched.

Update: Followed this guide - http://hubcitylabs.org/unlocking-your-new-raspberry-pis-512mb-of-memory/ and solved the problem.

It's likely a firmware issue.
If the memory chip stacked on the soc has 4G in it's number, it's a 512MB board.
The foundation recently changed the way the memory is split up.
Some firmware updaters aren't compatible with this new method yet.
