Trying to do the impossible!

dwinhold
dwinhold over 13 years ago

Hello everyone,

I have dis-assembled the Windows mobile  (old version) and trying to make it run on the Raspberry Pi. I believe with a modification/addon to the pi with a microchip or emulator this could be possible. Anyone with any ideas I definately need them, as well. I am willing to share any and all info/software to try to get this to work.

Thanks everyone!!

    Sounds like an interesting project.

    However be careful, see this:

    http://epsfiles.intermec.com/eps_files/eps_man/943-132.pdf

I think you may be in violation of Section 3 point 2.

    Just sayin' . . .

Too late.  The NSA intercepted your post and the FBI are on the way to your house.

I think as long as he does it academically he's on safe ground.  But when you publish your results and technique expect cease and deists orders from Microsoft, even if its an abandonware version of their OS.  If you profit from it in anyway expect a lawsuit.  There is a reason so many things are published anomously.

I'm intrigued with the idea of using microcontrollers with the Pi.  Are they for inputs or are you try to emulate other hardware?
