I first was having trouble, over several days, with verifying the checksum. Then I realized that the instruction was not exactly correct. The checksum is applied to the zip file not the image (img) file.
Now that I have a verified good copy of the zip file for the newest Wheezy Version (13-2-9) and the expanded img file, I inserted my SD card into an USB port. It was recognized as device H:
So I started Win32DiskImager-V.07.exe, and when the very long, scary, no-action period ended, a text box appeared wanting to know what img file I wanted to install. I successfully pointed to that. Next to the img file name it wanted to know on what device I wanted to install. I had no choice - it wanted to install on my backup drive, K:. Would not give me any other choices but K:. I tried repeating that again, same thing.
My question - What am I doing wrong now? Was there supposed to be any other preparation to the SD card (a 4G version) like formatting?
Any advice would be appreciated.
Chuck
