Raspberry Pi Model B connect to TV

Hello,

Is the device suitable for connecting TV to the Internet and surf the Internet on TV?

If so,

is the appearance of the screen is like any other browser or different?

Should I add more parts?

    The Raspberry have an HDMI connector with resolution up to 1920×1200.

     

    If your TV have an HDMI port - most modern TV does - you don't need anything watch the Raspberry session in your TV.

     

    As for the appearance, yes is the same as in other browsers, but  you won't have Flash - unless you install Gnash - and there would be some videos that would not play unless you install codecs.

     

    If your internet cable does not reach where you want to put the Pi you may also need an USB wifi dongle.
