D-Link DWA-171 Wireless AC Dual Band Adapter with Raspberry Pi

Hi All,

Has anyone here used the above adapter with RPi? Seems only 2.4Ghz band is supported but not 5.0Ghz as when I tried using the 5.0Ghz band the RPi did not see my router at all. Any help?

As mentioned some time ago, I wrote to DLink support regarding a Linux driver for this device. After a month they got back to me and suggested I try using the driver found at this site. I am yet to try it only got email today.

Give it a go. Cheers.
