Hi,

I just discovered something.. I am not sure if this has been discussed yet or not. I kinda looked around a bit and didn't see anything.. I hooked the HDMI to DVI adapter from my Mac Mini to the Rpi and it works fine. So those of you that have a Mac Mini you now can hook your Rpi to a monitor :-)

The HDMI and DVI video standards are basically the same thing but with a different connector (HDMI can have HDCP etc) the adaptor just adapts for the two connector types so yes it really should work .

I use a standard HDMI to DVI-D cable with all my HDMI devices -- works great. The monitor must support DVI-D.
