Best device for Gigabit Ethernet traffic testing and WiFi Site Surveying

Hi everyone!

I am currently using a Raspberry Pi 2 running IPERF https://iperf.fr/ to test bandwidth on a WiFi/LAN network.

As the Pi is only 100Mbps I am only able to exercise tests up to the 100M mark (~96 Mbits/sec).

Is anyone aware of a better small platform that I could setup iperf on to run tests at a higher bandwidth?

Ideally, it could run at GigE speeds but my current needs only require ~450Mbps for 802.11n WiFi testing.

BTW, this is nothing permanent or attached to a production network so security is not a concern.

Banna PI may do the trick, it has 1GB ethernet http://www.bananapi.org/p/product.html

Have you considered one of the GigE attached Odroids like the XU3?

Are you two related, is this a family feud !! lol yes though, your correct I marked it as 1GB instead of the correct Gb (Which is a way different value)
