Could someone please tell me what parts I need and where to get them?

Hi. So I want to make a portable Raspberry Pi, with an 17in screen I got from a Toshiba Satellite, and a Raspberry Pi 1 B+. So I have everything except for 4 things.

1. How do I connect the LCD to the Pi without using HDMI, so if I want, I can connect the portable Pi to another, bigger display.

2. What parts do I need to connect the display to the Pi.

3. How do I use only one power cord for the display and the Pi together.

4. What parts do I need to use to only need one power cord.

All the info on the display is displayed image below in pictures.

Thanks,

Kiren

    Hi Kiren,

If you make it easier for people to read your entire post, and make it clear that you've tried to research this, then you'll get more

responses (a general fact of life). There must be hundreds of similar queries on the Internet, about connecting laptop screens

    to a Raspberry Pi.

If you insert your images into the body of your text, then people will see them without requiring them to click to download your images.

one by one (this might be a quick thing for you, but is slower and a hassle especially from a mobile phone or tablet).

You can see how to do this by looking at the toolbar in the editor when you type your message.

Also looks like a duplicate of this post: Is it possible to connect this 17in display(from a Toshiba Satellite) to a Raspberry Pi, without using HDMI(and another thing)..
