Here is a shot I found of ISS passing in front of the moon - I didn't take it, but my camera has taken a shot of the moon by itself that is as detailed as this, so this shot provides hope that I can catch a decent shot of ISS. It's speed is dependent upon the point of reference! If you're inside it about zero. It supposedly is moving at 27,600km per hour with a complete orbit of planet Earth every 92 minutes.
