Raspberry pi gpio input

Question

OK so I am making a controller for the Raspberry Pi 3 b+ but I don't know how to make a common ground or how to wire it to the pi. Could some one please help?

I don't think the link works to show the power supply you are looking to connect to the Pi. Could you post what model this is or correct the link.

As far as connecting to the Pi, the following is a link showing the pinout of the GPIO Header on the Pi which may provide you with what you are looking for.
