Raspberry Pi stuck in reboot loop during nightly build update

Question

So, I was trying to update my raspberry pi which is using the element 14 4GB SD card preloaded with Radpbmc, and it rebooted, and then just got stuck in a loop.

Any thoughts on how I can fix this? I bought the kit because I just want it to work. I really don't have the time to run around trying to tweak. I have young kids....

Any help would be appreciated!

And if you do you can also format then reinstall the operating system.I hope this helps.

I had the same issue, what I had to do id format the SD card, download the full standalone image, load the card and boot the Raspberry Pi without the internet connected. Once running, disable updates and connect the internet. There seems to be an error in the new update somewhere. The image file is on their web site. Good luck!! It worked for me, Dale W
