Downloading software for the Piface Digital problems

Hi,

I bougth a Raspberry Pi board and played a little with it. I then bougth a PiFace Digital. It sits nice on top of the Pi board, but I need some software drivers in order to use the PiFace Digital board. How do I get the necesserary software into the SD?  I have not got a network connection to it. I guess that I have to add a software module to the SD by downloading it with my PC.

But what is  this module called and where can I find it?

Regards,

Åke

    Hi again,

I feel that to run the PiFace board, I either have to

    A) add ??? to NOOBS and burn a SD with it .

    - or -

    B) I will have to find a ??? file that replaces the NOOBS and adds the PiFace code. This is used to burn the SD.

    -or-

    C) some other way of doing it

My question which idea is true? A, B or C?

If A or B, what is the file ??? called?

If C, please explain it to me.

I feel utterly stupid, as it seems that no one else is having this problem.

    Regards,

When you say you copied the piface files onto your sd card, where did you get them from?  And where did you put them?

Somewhere in those files there will be a README file which should tell you what to do.  From what you said above, you have not yet installed the piface software so Python cannot find it.

Given that your Pi is fairly new I would have thought simply installing the Piface software onto your existing Pi SD card would be easiest.

Why are you not able to connect your Pi to the network?
