I purchased 2 Transcend 16GB Class 10 SDHC Card (TS16GSDHC10), used the create SD card utility on my Ubuntu computer loaded the 3.2.4 version of openelec on it and was off to the races. Worked a couple of days on getting the config correct and used it to stream videos from my media server. A couple of weeks go by and the video stopped working so I rebooted it, it wouldn't reboot. I worked with it for an hour or two checking it with my card reader and backed up up the partitions off the card. I couldn't get it to boot so I took the other Transcend card formatted it restored the backup I made to it, plugged it into the Pi and it booted perfectly. Fast Forward a couple of weeks and I got the exact same behavior. Fortunately I was building a Pi for my son to stream video and purchased 2 Sony 16GB SDHC/SDXC Class 10 UHS-1 R40 Memory Cards (SF16UY/TQMN). After a month I've had no problem with the Sony cards. If someone can update the Wiki on the SD cards and put a caution on buying the TS16GSDHC10 version of the Transcend cards it will probably help someone else looking for a good SD card. Interestingly enough I try the Transcend cards every once in a while and they boot and run for a few days before crapping out again. I think it could be a heat related issue, but I haven't been able to say that with certainty, the environment the cards are in has good air circulation and stays below 70deg F. I'd be interested in anyone having a similar issue with this card, and after reading a few posts on SD related issues I'll inspect the Transcend cards closely to see if there are any physical issues with them...
