Can not get my Pi to boot first time.

Question

Just got a Raspberry Pi with an 8gb card.

When I power it up I get a long string of code.

THe top line says Indeed it is in host mode hprt0 = 00001101

The end says:

Entering kdb (current=0xda82ac80, pid 1) due to keyboard entry

Can anyone please help?

Very old, but correct answer. If the green led start to flash while the boot process, the power supply is the reason.
