Just wondering if any patches would come out soon for 3.12.x?
3.10.25 is getting rather old.

Hi Dave,
here you can find some inofficial sources ->

Thanks. Where did you get the patches from? It would make upgrading much easier.
Hi Dave,
the patches are based on the original patches from Wolfson. There is nothing new except that they work for a more recent kernel (3.12). I modified them here and there to get the whole thing running.
These patches are not the official ones. Because I didn't want to wait too long (and I read in several threads that others won't do either) I posted the result on my website. I have nothing to do with Wolfson in general and in particular. So if you want to upgrade to 3.14 feel free to do it on your own or be patient and wait for the official version.
Wolfson has been sold to Cirrus Logic http://investor.cirrus.com/news-and-events/media-center/news-details/2014/Cirrus-Logic-Agrees-to-Acquire-Wolfson-Microelectronics/default.aspx
So when there will be a next update or if there will be an update at all: Ask Cirrus
Georg
Hi Georg Mill,
Thank you for making the drivers easy. I installed your work this evening. I was wondering about the Raspbian release dated June 20 and if you'd be updating your contribution to reflect it.
Thanks for providing that kernel package. I'm using it on one of my Model Bs for a Bluetooth streaming box, (very) loosely based on: http://www.instructables.com/id/Turn-your-Raspberry-Pi-into-a-Portable-Bluetooth-A/?ALLSTEPS (but with some important changes). Once I find sufficient free time, I'll post a writeup of my own.
One thing I did differently than your instructions: in /boot/config.txt I used the line:
kernel=vmlinuz-3.12.33-rt47-georg
rather than rename the kernel image. In any case, it works like a charm, once I figured out a few things; I'm still a bit of a noob at PulseAudio, and BlueZ for that matter. Still, it sounds quite nice through a pair of studio monitors.
One thing I'd like to do, if I can, is set it up to use one of the internal DMICs to turn it into a complete handsfree setup. I don't think I'd use it in a car, though, since boot times are quite long (I have a BluStream kit in my car that's up and running in a few seconds).
Thanks for your feedback.
Have fun.
Will this updated version support Scipy?
I tried with older Ragnar's image(2014-01-07-wheezy-raspbianW) but didn't work.

What exactly did not work with Scipy? Please post a more detailed error description.
I made a separate post about scipy on RPi.
Do your patches support the lower sampling rates (like 8K) that were not working in 3.10? I was told in a post that those rates would be part of 3.12, but I don't think that happened. I also downloaded 3.18--there was absolutely no Wolfson card for Model B support in there as far as I could tell.
