Wireless Raspberry Pi camera

Is there any way i can connect the raspberry pi camera wirelessly to the pi? I know that there is a ribbon connector but it is coming out to be short in length for my project. Is there any ready made circuit available in the market that would make my pi camera wireless?

Couldn't you use a longer cable?

There are long cables for the camera, sadly not stocked by element14.

I suspect the OP also wants to stream the video back to ground.

I don't know if there is a wireless camera for the PI, but u can connect a common usb cam,

start capturing image or video before take off.

Or u can attach a wireless dongle and during your flight connect with ssh and start capturing to your common USB cam

The RaspberryPi is the solution; plug in a WiFi adapter, camera board, power and you have a remotely controllable camera. You can connect to it using another RPi or a suitable laptop.
