Raspberry Pi 2 model B 1 GB hdmi sound problem

Question

Got two of them and same problem on both with several hdmi tv(s). Older Pi worked fine on both tv(s). Headphone jack works fine. Used Python Games to switch as well as sudo raspi-com-fig.

OK I finally got it to work on the small HDTV. --I tried the below steps again and it worked finally. ---------But Why did the big tv work but not the small tv? Is the larger TV HDMI 1.4 while the smaller is HDMI 1.3? That would explain a lot. Clem
