I recently bought 3 pi2s from the element14 store. One was for me, one for a friend, and one for my sister. I recently picked up a component video display that I wanted to connect to my pi. I connected all of the wires correctly and followed the instructions on how to show the video through component on NOOBS on my own pi. It did not work. I then followed the exact same steps on my sister's pi, and sure enough, it did work.
Any Suggestions on how to fix this?

No connectivity at all? That's bizarre. I'd expect some of the signals to connect but video or ground to be missing. Does your sister's board have connectivity?
Replacing connectors is a pain and it's easy to damage the board. If it's still under warranty, I'd RMA. element14 needs to know how boards are failing the the field to improve manufacturing yield, so you're helping them out
