7" Touch Screen Display Cable Problem

I have a 7" touch screen display in the box. The ribbon cables are very thin

and flexible. How does one insert the display to controller cable and the

display to controller cable without damaging the cable. They do not want

to slide into the plug.

There's usually a plastic catch at the front of the connector that pulls out about 1-2mm.
This will open the connector and allow the ribbon to fit in

and this still is the support newsgroup/forum for Cadsoft Eagle (a
schematic and layout editor) not a Raspberry Pi nor a general
electronic forum.

You will most likely get more answers if you move to a forum more
suited for your topic.
