7" Touch Screen Display Cable Problem

I have a 7" touch screen display in the box. The ribbon cables are very thin

and flexible. How does one insert the display to controller cable and the

display to controller cable without damaging the cable. They do not want

to slide into the plug.

schematic and layout editor) not a Raspberry Pi nor a general
electronic forum.
