i purchased raspberry pi3 .i setup as mentioned in the startup guide ,but only red light glows , it is not booting .pls help

  • This has happened a few times to me, and I've traced it down to the SD card every time. Once, I changed the SD card completely, but mostly I just either eject/reinsert, or in some cases, completely wipe the card and reinstall NOOBS, or whatever system I want. This also happened on my media center, and when the red light was on, there was no HDMI output. Check the card; eject/reinsert, step two reinstall, step three change the card.
