Good Evening,
I want to make a feedback system for my home automation system. I want to receive something like a status from them that it will say that they are okay. I want to make something like a diagnostic where i can run a program and receive feedback . Am working with both arduino mega and raspberry pi. Any suggestions how i can make something like this? (The software i can handle it .. The hardware is what bothering me.(what do i need to use?))

Unfortunately there isn't enough information to help you here. Your next step should be to design the system at least at a high level, and as part of your high level design, decide how you want the communication to occur; for example over wires? or radio comms? If radio, are you looking for recommendations on wireless modules? Or do you actually already have these, and you're looking for information on how to use them? It will also help to know which devices you need feedback from, and how are the controlled (e.g. using relays and custom boards, or some off-the-shelf devices with wireless capability?)
As an example, here is a high-level diagram for an example home automation deployment (this uses off-the-shelf devices available in the UK). Your diagram could be more detailed, if you're using more custom hardware, just to help explain what you're doing, and which area you need help in.
