Some enhancements, note that the dimensions still need checking

Made my own little mod While piggy-back wifi is nice, piggy-back USB hub is even better: The Pi is powered by the USB hub, and up to 4 dongles can be connected. Using low profile dongles keeps everything…

I took the advice of the Adafruit guy and built a simple model of the PiZero to check the dimensions against. I think this is as far as I can get without a board so I'll wait for my deliver before finalising things. In the mean time if anyone who has a board fancies doing a test print I'd be glad to hear what needs fixing. Latest STLs are at https://github.com/Workshopshed/3DPrinting/tree/master/PiZeroCase

Excellent tutorial on making an enclosure for the Zero, from Adafruit:

I agree. When I got my RPi 2B I installed the Raspian using the Noobs SD card that came with the starter kit. I got an error every time when booting up Linux. It wasn't until I connected the Pi o my LAN that it installed and booted correctly.Connectivity is required. I would imagine that there would be lots of information detailing how to get connected, either with WiFi or Ethernet, as I see this more important on the Pi-Zero than, for example, the HDMI output.

Thanks bwelsby that appeared in my twitter feed a few minutes ago. It's got the majority of what I need but I'll have to get the socket widths off the web, hope to sort it out this evening. Also these might need some fine tuning to allow for the size of connectors being inserted into the sockets. I've added some feet and re-enforced the mounting points.

Nice work! It's a small device, so a neat case like this would be great -- especially if you were thinking of going portable with it.

Generally speaking, when you order when there is stock you'll be one of the people who get an item from said stock!

This does not hold when one way or another your order takes a long time to go to "payment completed" status.

I agree, I had a similar problem when the RPi2 was released, I placed my order on-line with Farnell when it showed in stock but by the time they got to processing it they had sold out. I was told that there was a lag between the website updates and telephoned orders and trade counter sales.

Anyhow the good news is that my CPC order is now showing completed so I shall clear some space for the new arrival image
