After a string of unfulfilled promises of delivery the next day, the kit has finally arrived.

With the thermometer at -24 degrees Celsius and a promise of lower temperatures still, I will avoid the outdoors and stay nice a cozy inside cuddled up exploring this new toy.

That is fantastic! The computer club meets online tonight, I can't wait to tell the students.

The club is putting the finishing touches on the Astro-Pi challenge https://astro-pi.org/ . I was looking for the next project. This means I have to switch from kludging python programming with the students to recalling the finer details of setting up networks.

Thanks to Karen and other members of the E14 team for making such a wonderful prize available to the community. I promise a blog post once we are in production. Thanks again.

My family and I built this small monster two years ago, based on two Arduinos (Mega + nano).
We'd love to repurpose it using a more powerful controller, and pi-top seems a great fit for it!
