Element13 April Fools RoadTest

You’ve gotta love it when a company goes all in on an April fools joke and calls your bluff…

I saw the April Fools days posts about changing “element14” to “element13” and setting up an Aluminum foil Road Test, so I thought I’d play along and add my application. I expected maybe they would later share the Road Test applications somewhere in the community.

But next thing I know there’s a package at my front door - they called my bluff! Now I need to keep my end of the deal and start folding some tinfoil hats!

For those interested, this was my application:

Frequency Obscuring Outer Layer System hat (FOOLS hat)

I was recently thinking about The Fermi Paradox: if life starts so easily, why haven't we seen aliens?

And the obvious reason is: because they are sneaky and living amongst us. How else can you explain “Crocs", "Windows computers", and "April Fools jokes"?

So we need to protect ourselves. We don't want them reading our brain waves, and also we don't want them implanting thoughts into our heads.

Now I know what you're thinking - tinfoil hats. But... shiny side in? or shiny side out?

Obviously the shiny side is the more reflective part, so we will need that to be on the INSIDE to keep our brainwaves from leaving. But also we need it on the OUTSIDE to keep them from implanting thoughts and memories! What a dilemma.

My project, with enough funding and research time, aims to have a shiny side on both the INSIDE - AND- the OUTSIDE! Mind blown yet???? I know, right!!? brilliant, if I do say so myself!

Anyway, hope you pick me. Before it's too late. I don't know if my cheap no-name aluminum foil is up to the task!

And here is my final Road Test review: Frequency Obscuring Outer Layer System hat (FOOLS hat)
