How do you find the list of links for all reviews on a RoadTests

I'm hoping someone would share their technique for finding all the reviews related to a particular Roadtest?

I have had this struggle for a while but figured at some point I would discover how to navigate to all the posted content for a RoadTest.

My original search was for the content related to Xsens Position and Orientation Sensing GNSS/INS Dev Kit but in my search I found WAGO Rail-Mount Terminal Block System and wanted to look into that one. I failed to find one location that lists all the completed reviews for that RoadTest. I seem to recall such a location existed that provided all the links for reviews but that may have been the legacy site or it may be me wishing it was so.

I found this link /products/roadtest/rv/roadtest_reviews/list to the reviews. I was looking for one-stop shop that has all the review links associated with the RoadTest. Does such a place exist or did I wake up in the shower after a season has passed?

I like reading reviews. I especially like reading reviews for RoadTests that didn't make the cut. I'm short of time. I don't want to spend cycles trying to find stuff. How do you navigate RoadTest reviews? If such navigation exists would someone share how they accomplish the task?

It appears from your description a stratum clock could be developed from the outputs. Thank you for the reply.

    Hi colporteur

Sorry somehow I missed your reply. Never got a notification for it (which I had expected I would).

To answer your question, on this kit you plug-in an external ublox F9P module, which is configured by the MTi-680 device to output the position output over UART as well as a 1PPS signal. Both the UART output and the 1PPS signal are used as  inputs by the MTi-680. The documentation says that it is recommended to have this 1PPS input for better performance, so I assume the MTi-680 uses it to tame its internal clock, when available.

For establishing stratum time, I would think you need the 1pps signal, as well as an output string which states the time related to the 1PPS edge? If those are the only two things you need, then I would say there are two options:

    1. You could tap the 1PPS output as well as the time string going from ublox to the MTi-680. However, the MTi-680 also supports the ublox binary output so this might be difficult if that is being used.

    2. Alternatively, you can also configure the MTi-680 to output the relevant NMEA message(s) to it's UART

The GPZDA (from my googling just now) seems to output the timestamp related to the 1PPS signal that was just received.

The device also has a SYNC_OUT output. But the only option I see is outputting a 400Hz clock for synchronization with sensors. So I think that is not relevant. I think the 1PPS signal from the GNSS receiver + the GPZDA output messages should do the trick.

    Did I answer your question?

    Regards,
    Saad

I tend to follow more closely RoasTests I submit applications for.

I was curious about what GPS data was available on the system. My objective was to establish stratum time using the External GNSS extension socket and daughter card. Does the development kit provide access to the accurate time signals broadcasted by the GPS satellites to make this possible?

    Hi colporteur

I saw you mentioned "My original search was for the content related to Xsens Position and Orientation Sensing GNSS/INS Dev Kit". I am one of the roadtesters for the kit. I want to ask you if there is any particular information/test you wish to see relating to this device? Perhaps I can try to incorporate it into my testing/review Slight smile

    Regards,
    Saad
