For Anyone Who Works in or with Education: Presenting The Raspberry Pi Model B+ Camera Kit!
Note: This RoadTest is only available to residents of the UK, the Republic of Ireland, USA or Canada.
The element14 Community, in partnership with MCM and CPC, is pleased to present our first Raspberry PiRaspberry Pi Educator's RoadTest in support of the STEM Academy, where element14 supports anyone interested in teaching or learning concepts related to engineering and programming.
Our featured product, the Raspberry Pi Model B+Raspberry Pi Model B+ Camera Kit, enables you to inspire young programmers with exciting, fun projects. Get your students' creative juices flowing as you lead them in using the Raspberry Pi.

Blogging Challenge
Successful RoadTesters will be invited to blog on in the STEM Academy in addition to providing the standard RoadTest review of the product; the blogs should fully describe use of the product being used by educators and students to create projects in classrooms or in groups. Blogs should incorporate videos and images whenever possible. Each RoadTester will be required to submit a minimum of 3 blogs; each blog should be tagged with "RaspberryPi_education". Final submissions are due on Friday, February 13, 2015; the Grand Prize will be awarded shortly thereafter.
Grand Prize
element14, MCM and CPC will provide the winner of the Blogging Challenge with a 3D printer. The total prize value is approximately $600.00!
Terms & Conditions
Testers will be selected on the basis of quality of applications: we expect a full and complete description of why you want to test this particular product and your approach for blogging about it.
Testers are required to produce a full, comprehensive and well thought out review, we also expect a minimum of 3 blog posts about this product in the STEM Academy section of element14. Both are due by Friday, February 13, 2015.
Failure to provide the review and blogs within the above timescale will result in the enrolee being excluded from future Road Tests.

My plan is to use the Camera kit with students to record crystal formation using time-lapse photography. I will post up my first blog post soon with full details of the plan. I am working with KS3 pupils in a Secondary School and Home Educated children (around KS1/2).
