This seems to be a great piece of equipment. I will not apply but I definitely recommend this road test to beginners. I already have a similar Tektronix scope and I am very happy with how it works (TEK…

Great share GY! I worked in engineering responsible for site equipment installation. We identified the on-site maintenance people by the guys standing around with their hands in their pockets. "Hey you…

Hi Gary, I can quickly answer this, 10x probes are included (they are considered part of the accessories supplied with it as standard in the datasheet), and the USB port does support remote control (aka…

Even if It's a really basic scope, It could be interesting to test the education features.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I think it is the type Allen mentioned in the first comment, which costs 550 Pounds.

Or maybe the picture just doesn't match the description and datasheet...

Maybe we can test the 100MHz model. The roadtest isn't yet released.

I would have to pay a 20% tax or more if I would receive this for roadtesting, but is more affordable than if I would have to test a $20000 model.

It is a piece of hardware that misses from my workbench so I would like to give it a try.

Frankly, I consider this a bit more than the entry-level. If you check the model this "entry-level" is just over 1k pound on the Farnell catalogue.

it will be interesting to test it for audio devices performances (including microphones and other live tools), as well as synth and wave generators to evaluate the device in particular instrument conditions where the environment noise is a critical factor.

This is not a beast, the exact opposite. One of the cheapest scopes for entry level engineers or makers. There have already been roadtests for scopes in a value of €20 000, which could be called beasts. This one is about € 800 and you can't really get any cheaper from a renowned company.

This entry level scope could be interesting for beginners, however I haven't seen one important feature that the competition has - serial decoders (UART, I2C, SPI...), at least as an option.

I reviewed the Tektronix TBS1202B-EDU Oscilloscope - Review in the past and I can anyone recommend to apply for this one.

Since I'm not a hardware collector (Poll: What Motivates You to Apply for a RoadTest? ) I won't apply this time.

I am interested in this tool to test it in depth in almost all the range of audio/music waveform analysis.
