Hi!
So I've had an arm for extruding solder paste out of a syringe that I got on AliExpress, and I loved using it.
But, as you can see from the picture, it broke only after a few weeks of use... I tried gluing it back together, but it didn't work and it just broke again. The whole thing looked rather simple, so I decided to just model out my version and print it out. I ended up making 2 versions, one that uses a small bearing and one without any bearings. Both share the exact same parts except the center rotating nut which is just an adapter to one version or the other.
Here are the pictures of the bearing-free version:
You can see the version with the bearing below, it also uses 2 additional M4 screws. I made that one first because I saw those bearings on my table when I got the idea, but from a functionality standpoint, they're exactly the same.
If you wanna print your own version, you can find all of the files here: https://www.printables.com/model/684211-manual-solder-flux-paste-dispenser-extruder
I love making 3D printed tools for my workshop since that means I can customize them to my liking, please share if you have any cool 3D printed tools below! Besides this, I have a 3D-printed USB microscope stand as well as a lot of small 3D-printed spools for jumper wires.
