I have had the PrintrBot Simple for two months now.
I started out printing small cubes and little models like a tardis. I have had trouble aligning the z-axis and have set the probe height several times. I have had little difficulty so far.
Last weekend when I tried to print a model, the z-probe started acting strange. I go to home the z-axis and the z motor raises the hotend and keeps raising the hotend again and stops. This puts the hotend about an inch off the bed and it thinks this is level.
I cannot lower the hotend manually and the z-home keeps getting higher and higher. HELP!
I have already tried flashing the board with the new firmware about 3 times. I already tried cleaning the z-probe and unplugging it. The only thing I can think of when it started is when I tried to print a model with a different computer. I cannot print anything.
What should I do next?
