Is this a heated bed? Have you cleaned it with alcohol recently?
Yes it's a heated bed only 12v so only get 80oC on it. Rechecked my bed for being level that's all good checked my printer settings nothing changed there. Using hair spray on the bed and yes recently cleaned the bed. Looks a bit high tho on the start of the print I noticed on a new print this morning. Possibly my first layer hight? Idk need a coffee in me here before I start thinking too much lol
Looks like a classic ABS adhesion issue,
1. Clean the bed with Alc
2. check bed temperature is getting to what is needed
3. have you changed your hairspray recently , or perhaps simply a new bottle that the manufacturer just changed an ingredient ?
4 Cooling fan ?
5. First layer print too high for some reason and therefor making adhesion even more impossible
6. Change in bad temperature too soon
How has this gone? I've had problems over winter in my garage caused I think by ambient air temps and also the damp air affecting my bed coating. I'm using heated glass bed with a PVA glue and water mix. Material is colourfabb XT.
When it was really cold even PLA would curl.
I realised my heated bed was flexing away from the glass, so I turned it over so it meant I had an even hot surface but still had some issues.
I've found I need brim, make sure my first layer is good and change the bed coating more regularly seems to have does the trick, oh and I also invested in a de-humidifier for the garage.
I keep meaning to try the hairspray (Any UK recommendations). I also wondered about the spray on photo mount glue you can buy in hobby stores, and I have read about using sugar and water.
Now spring is here I might get to drop the brim off and see if it still sticks. I guess the real fix would be an enclosed printer.
Dan.
